The break till 12.30 is announced in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
260 MPs out of 267 registered in the session hall voted in favor of this decision. The relevant proposal was made by the leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov.
He said that any politician is best seen "in extreme situations." According to Yefremov, the more extreme situation is, the politicians, responsible not only for their families, but also for making important state decisions, have to behave more calmly.
He noted that during the break, which was previously announced, the consultations were held and it was agreed that, since it is the day for the opposition MPs to form the agenda, but they are not present in the session hall, it is necessary to form another agenda.
Yefremov stressed the need to announce a break and offered the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada to come back to consideration of the issues planned yesterday and "to prepare materials on yesterday's agenda."
In addition, the Parliament has decided to cancel scheduled for today parliamentary hearings on the topic: "Ukrainian book: the realities and the prospects of the domestic book publishing and distribution." 253 out of 266 Mps registered in the session hall voted in favor of such decision.
