Currently, the St. Andrew church is not in danger, the head of the emergencies department of the Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Pshenychny told a briefing today, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Today nothing poses threat to the St. Andrew church. The church operates in normal mode. It is open and will be open to the public," he assured.

According to Pshenychny, the restoration works on the Andrew Descent has not yet been completed, namely, the placing of topsoil caused landslide of the upper layer of soil.

Moreover, the official added that the completion of placing of topsoil, and thus the completion of all restoration works to strengthen the slope of the St. Andrew church will cost about 300 thousand hryvnia and take one month.
