Party of Regions faction leader Oleksandr Yefremov is convinced that President Viktor Yanukovych will not veto the draft bill on language policy in case of its adoption.

"The President may not sign a draft bill if there are certain violations of the laws or the Constitution. Our draft bill on languages, however, does not violate any norms. I don't see any grounds for the President's Administration to veto the draft bill," the MP said.

Yefremov also waved off speculations on that the President does express publicly his support of the given draft bill. "I don't consider this to be a question. President has expressed neither his support nor disapproval. He acts according to the regulations, which forbids evaluating the draft bill before its full adoption," Yefremov summed up.
