Ukraine is to elaborate the new approaches to industrial policy and accelerate the development of the real economy, says the introduction to the annual message of the President of Ukraine to the Parliament on domestic and foreign situation in Ukraine, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.
The purpose to ensure the modernization and technological upgrading of the sector, in the opinion of the President, should be the basis of new approaches. "The growth of the investment and innovation activities of business, the implementation of the energy-saving technologies is the only way to enhance the economic growth," Yanukovych said.
The President mentioned that the reforms in the agricultural sector are need accelerating as well. "Already this year, before removing moratorium on the sale of agricultural land it is necessary to ensure the establishment and proper functioning of the mechanisms to protect the interests of farmers and food security in the country," the head of the state said.
