The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov thanked the Euro 2012 volunteers for the improving the image of Ukraine, he said during a meeting with the best volunteers that helped to ensure the Euro-2012 holding.
The Prime Minister has awarded valuable gifts to the volunteers. "I would like to thank everyone involved in organizing the entertainment of foreign guests. I would like to emphasize that our guests' mood depended on your unselfish work for many hours a day," the PM said.
"You have made a very important thing: you have created the reputation of our country. Your courtesy, attentiveness, intelligence, tact, ability to find a common ground influenced on the tourist impression of our country. They say they have seen a completely different country," Azarov added.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that despite the criticism and negative on the eve of the championship in Ukraine, our country has been able to organize and host the Euro 2012 at the highest level.
