Meeting with the head of the Russian President’s Administration Sergey Ivanov, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that hosting the European Football Championship 2012 at the highest level proves that Ukraine is able to implement large-scale projects, ForUm learned from the Cabinet’s press office.
"Moreover, we can implement large-scale cooperative and integration projects with Russia," Azarov said.
In addition, the Prime Minister proposed to establish the permanent commission on quick solving the problems arising in course of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union member countries.
The two sides also discussed the issues of bilateral economic cooperation in trade, transportation, aviation and energy fields. In addition, the sides noted the need to increase mutual direct investment in the real economy sector.
