The final part of EURO-2012 was a success, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during his meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, as ForUm learned from the press service of the Head of State.

"We consider that football holiday was great. Confirmation of that is the atmosphere we felt at the stadium yesterday. The mood of fans is the reflection of the whole championship," he said.

"I visited fan-zone and saw how peaceful and festive the fans of many countries were. It is very important," Yanukovych said.

The President also noted that infrastructure prepared for EURO-2012 will be further used. "The development of infrastructure is always the development of tourism, economics, processes of integration," he said.

In his turn, Serzh Sargsyan congratulated his Ukrainian colleague on the successful holding of Euro 2012. "The event is really a success," the President of Armenia said.
