The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov suggested discussing issues on elimination of trade barriers between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the cooperation between the Customs Union and Ukraine at the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission meeting to be chaired by the Presidents of two countries, scheduled for July 12.

"There are problems associated with the operation of the new establishment (the Customs Union) and new mechanisms, new barriers ... We think that this question should be raised during the meeting of the Presidents," Azarov said at the meeting with the head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov on Monday.

Azarov reminded that last week the meeting of the intergovernmental committee for economic cooperation under the chairmanship of the Prime Ministers of both countries was held.

According to him, at the meeting, in particular, was raised the issue of the interaction between the Customs Union and Ukraine and the realization of large-scale bilateral projects.

The Ukrainian government is seriously preparing for a meeting of the Interstate Commission, Azarov said.

Currently, the head of the Kremlin administration stays in Ukraine preparing for the meetings of the Interstate Commission.

As reported, the Interstate Commission at presidential level is scheduled for July 12.
