Meeting with the Ukrainian President Viktor Yankovych in Kyiv, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev said that this year the trade turnover between Ukraine and Russia decreased.
Medvedev said that the increase in turnover in 2011 amounted to $50 billion. "It is a serious figure," he said.
Besides, the Prime Minister expressed his regret that this year the situation has worsened.
At the same time, he noted that there are still mechanisms to improve the situation.
