The relevant report states that the management of the private radio station made up the decision to close the program on Monday. The Eska Rock radio station quoted the text of the statement on the air: «The radio management regrets the situation occurred during the morning broadcast on June 12, 2012. We sincerely apologize to everybody who felt offended by the statements of our DJs."
The Polish Council of Media Ethics recognized the words of Figurski and Wojewodzki the manifestation of xenophobia, cruelty and hatred. The Council urges the Polish National Council for Radio and Television express its position on this case.
One of the prosecutor's offices in Warsaw has already initiated an investigation on the case of Figurski and Wojewodzki statements aired in the morning radio show. For their insolent behavior they may be sentenced up to a three year imprisonment.
