"Electronic registry of patients is a single state information system of collecting, registration, gathering of personal patient information and received medical assistance," the statement says.
The registry is established to increase the medical care effectiveness, its timeliness, modernization of primary care. The electronic registry of patients does not cancel the paper medical charts.
"The implementation of the electronic patient registry is a pilot project. Its processing is to start in Vinnytsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kyiv regions. The collecting and processing of a patient personal data into the registry will be carried out only with his consent," the statement stressed.
