The vice prime minister – the infrastructure minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov is sure that the last week of the European Football Championship 2012 in Ukraine will be as successful as the previous days of the tournament.

"Certainly, Kyiv and Donetsk will cope. The airports will be overcrowded. But I would say that the tournament has passed brilliantly. All the citizens of our cities have welcomed at a decent level not only the guests from abroad, but from the different regions of Ukraine as well. I have no doubt that the tournament will end successfully," he told the journalists in Kyiv on Monday at a press briefing.

Kolesnikov said that during the Euro 2012, Ukraine has been and will be visited by a larger number of tourists it was expected.

He also announced the intention to seriously go into the question of the unscrupulous Ukrainian air line companies.

"I think that the Ministry is ready to publish a plan to combat unscrupulous airlines, where the most important issue is unfair competition. I will not say who is to be blamed, but when 65% of the market is concentrated in one private company, it is impossible to call them to account," Kolesnikov said.

The vice prime minister promised that the plan will be presented in the next two weeks.
