The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych praised the work of the Ukrainian customs officers during the hosting European Football Championship 2012.
"I address the words of sincere gratitude and respect to the customs officers, who, at the time of hosting Euro-2012, show a high professional level, courtesy and hospitality, responsibility and knowledge of their case," he said, appearing on the Customs Service Day celebration.
According to Yanukovych, during Euro 2012 there is a 30% increase in the number of people have crossed the Ukrainian border and the number of vehicles has been doubled.
