The statement of Yulia Tymoshenko on her next refusal to appear before the court was submitted to the Kharkiv court, ForUm learned from the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine press office.
Yesterday, on June 24, the convict wrote the statement informing she is not going to participate in the court hearing on the case of the United Energy System of Ukraine (UESU) corporation.
This is the fifth statement of Tymoshenko on the refusal to take part in hearings on the case and on her complaint investigation.
Today, on June 25, the first meeting of the Kyiv district court of Kharkiv will be held to consider the case of the United Energy System of Ukraine corporation. Tymoshenko is accused of stealing the budgetary funds by abuse of official position and tax evasion of the UESU, which delayed inflows into the state budget.
