Yesterday the traditional celebration of beauty and love named "Parade of Brides" was held under the program to celebrate the youth day in Kharkiv at Shevchenko park, as ForUm learned from the Kharkiv City Council official website.
This year 50 women who had walked through the city center in wedding dresses participated in this event. The parade participants according to their images were divided into five groups: "white swan", "film star", "flower fairy", "from my grandmother's trunk," "recklessness."
Apart from the parade, they took part in different contests, in particular defile, photo shoots, wedding dance, etc. The event was organized by the Department of Family, Youth and Sport of the Kharkiv City Council.
As a reminder, from May 25 to 27 the love and romance festival "Romantik. Chernihiv. Fest" was held in Chernihiv. On September 10, 2011 the first parade of brides took place in Kerch.
