Chairman of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Oleksanr Yefremov does not rule out that his faction will take drastic measure to solve the language issue.
"If the draft bill is not passed today, there is a chance that we would go for drastic measures. We will submit this issue to the Constitutional Assembly, but if MPs ignore the issues, which bother the society, we would go for the referendum," Yefremov told a briefing.
According to the official, the position of the Party of Regions on this issue remains unchanged. The Party believes that draft bill on language policy is the best solution of the problem.
