The profits of the Ukrainian banks for five months amounted to 1.893 billion UAH, the report of the National Bank of Ukraine on profits and expenditure of the banks of Ukraine says. Thus, in May the profit of the banks amounted to 88 million UAH (profit for the four months amounted to 1.805 billion UAH).
The profits of banks in January - May increased by 5.6% to 59.9 billion UAH, expenditure - by 0.4% to 58 billion UAH.
The losses of the Ukrainian banks in 2011 decreased by 40.8% - to 7.708 billion UAH, compared to 13.027 billion UAH loss for 2010
