The chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine (STSU) Oleksandr Klymenko
supports the idea of the introduction of the fifth category of the simplified tax system taxpayers (STS taxpayers), he told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I support the idea about the bill on singling out an additional separate group (the STS taxpayers - Ed.)," he said.

He also reminded that the STSU "must not only raise taxes," but also to encourage taxpayers. "If we see that the society has a request for some changes in the law, we must respond to it. Then, who will benefit from this change? Boutiques, cafes, restaurants, small and even medium businesses ... We will stimulate business through these innovations," Klymenko said.

As reported, on October 20, 2011, the Parliament of Ukraine amended the Tax Code of Ukraine and some other legislative acts of Ukraine on the simplified tax system. The law, in particular, provides for the dividing of the STS taxpayers into four categories.
