The parliamentary majority accuses the opposition of reluctance to cancel parliamentary immunity. As ForUm correspondent reports, an MP of Ukraine, leader of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Regions Oleksandr Yefremov said at the briefing, commenting on the development of situation around the bills on deputy's immunity cancellation.

"We have the bill on deputy's immunity cancellation, which is ready for vote before the elections. But the opposition does everything for the bill not to be considered. The committee thinks up various reasons why this bill can not be voted. But in fact there is no problem, the Constitutional Court has already issued a decision, "the Regions said.

According to him, now we need the committee to bring this issue to the session hall.

Yefremov also added that if Parliament supports this bill on July 5, it will be possible to vote for it by constitutional majority in early autumn.

At the same time, MP admitted that the Party of Regions is unlikely to collect 300 votes to cancel parliamentary immunity. Yefremov doubts that this bill will collect 226 votes.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn does not rule out that the Parliament will consider the bill on deputy's immunity cancellation in July.
