The wealth tax bill theoretically could be considered even today, the MP of Ukraine, the chairman of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
"But this is unlikely to happen due to various circumstances. However, we can put the bill on the Parliament’s agenda tomorrow and the day after tomorrow," he said.
He also said that the Party of Regions proposes to take one of the bills as a basis, and then make amendments. "Not to make a populist law when those who are not to pay this tax will pay it, and those who must pay it will move their property abroad. So here we need to find a reasonable solution," the MP said.
Yefremov did not exclude that the wealth tax bill may be passed before the end of this session, the next plenary week.
