The MP of Ukraine, the chairman of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov did not exclude that the session of the Parliament of Ukraine will be extended for another week, he told a briefing in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

Yefremov said that everything will depend on whether Parliament has time to consider a number of urgent draft bills before going for the summer holidays. According to MP, there are about 30 such bills.

"There is an instruction to prepare a relevant draft resolution. If we do not have time to consider a number of important bills, we will insist on the session’s extension," the MP said.

The leader of the Party of Regions faction said that among them there are the bill on the principles of the national language policy, the bill on sumptuary tax, as well as a number of bills identified as top-priority by the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to Yefremov, the Parliament is unlikely to consider all of these bills, not extending the session.
