The experience of the preparation and holding the European Football Championship in the capital will positively influence the work of all the municipal public utilities, the head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Oleksandr Popov told a press conference after the first 10 days of Kyiv hosting Euro 2012.

"The police, healthcare institutions, utilities, construction organizations, transport sector- all services are running like clockwork. We went through a very serious preparatory phase, when a lot of problems were solved or prevented, and now our city has really coordinated professional team. I am convinced that this experience will have a positive impact on the future work of all our services, ensuring the activity of the city. I want to thank them and wish us all to work at the same high in future as well. After all, the difficult days are still ahead. Far more fans will arrive in Kyiv at the final match and we must decently meet them," Oleksandr Popov said, the official web-site of the KCSA informs.

Also the head of the KSCA thanked the volunteers who help foreign visitors to orient in the city. Two thousand young people with the knowledge of foreign languages are on duty every day at all subway stations, bus stops, in public places. Foreign tourists praise them for their hospitality, friendliness and good knowledge of English.

As a reminder, since the first day of the Euro 2012 hosting, the head of the KSCA entrusted all the services working in emergency mode, around the clock.
