The law enforcement agencies of Donetsk region are ready to ensure security and order in the city on the day of the football matches, ForUm learned from the Internal Affairs Ministry press office.
Recently, some British media have reported that the Donetsk football hooligans are supposedly preparing for clashes with the English fans, arriving in Donetsk for the match between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
The interior minister said that the information covered by the British journalists does not reflect the actual situation. The Ukrainian fans are not radical about the arrival of foreigners and there are no leaflets referred to in the article.
"The Euro-2012 guests, coming from abroad to the mining capital of Ukraine, will enjoy calm and friendly atmosphere," the ministry spokesman said.
