The head coach of the football team of Ukraine Oleh Blokhin told a press conference he does not respect the Russian national team players for their attitude towards the fans.
"I have no respect for the Russian national team players, who after losing out to the Greeks, did not answer a single question," said Blokhin.
"But I can say I respect the Polish players. The whole team came to the fans and thanked them for their support. And it is clear that in future they will be together through foul and fair," Blokhin.
"Did I expect that the Russian national team would crash out of the championship? You’d better ask Dick Advocaat whether he expected. I did not understand the euphoria about getting in the easy group. I predicted quite different – you can easily lose in such a group. The early crashing out is the problem of the Russian national team. I feel sorry for it because it's the team of our neighbors. In Russia there is a real tragedy on the Euro outcome. The Russians hoped at least for getting out to the semifinals," the coach of the Ukrainian team said.
As a reminder, the Greek national team beat the Russian national team 1:0.
