"Shevchenko has a minor injury. I do not think everything is so bad. Shevchenko is a very important player for the Ukrainian national team. We all hope that he will be able to enter the field. Shevchenko is our top shooter, so such a loss can be a serious blow to us," he said.
Shevchenko got a knee injury and now risks missing final round match of the European Championship against England.
As a reminder, the Ukraine - England match will be held tomorrow in Donetsk (9:45 p.m. Kyiv time). To go to playoffs our team needs to win over England, the Englishmen, however, will go to playoffs, drawing a tie.
