Football fans have little interest in sightseeing Kyiv, the head of the Public Utilities Administration Dmytro Novytsky told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"As for today, to be honest, the fans are not very interested in sightseeing tours. But we have information that the Swedes, for example, often order tours along the Dnipro River and to the Museum of Chernobyl,"  he said.

According to Novytsky, the most visited places by foreigners in Kyiv are Mamaeva Sloboda, St. Cyril and St. Andrew's Church, National Museum of Russian Art, Kyiv Museum of Western and Eastern art and the contemporary sculpture festival in the Hryshko Botanical Garden.

In turn, the head of the Euro 2012 preparations Kyiv department Tatyana Slyshyk said that Kyiv sightseeing is interesting to another category of guests.

"Mostly, we organize guided tours for the wives of the teams’ players and accompanying persons. Usually, they are very interested to see the architecture, museums, opera and theaters," she said.
