Meeting the chairpersons of the government’s public councils, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov urged NGOs to participate actively in the preparation of the government decisions at the local and central levels, ForUm correspondent reports.

"I want you to understand that no big matter can be done without mistakes, but I want these mistakes to be less. Every government likes to whitewash itself in a biased manner. The NGOs must highlight the mistakes of the government. The government now implements the reforms of the President. This is a difficult process. Some have criticized that the reforms are too slow, others - they are too fast. But if there are no reforms at all, the situation in the country would be much more difficult," Azarov said.

In addition, the Prime Minister called on NGOs to be more principled and persistent and to advise the authorities when making their decisions.
