The State Tax Service of Ukraine is undergoing a complicated stage of development from a fiscal body into service agency, head of the Kyiv tax department Iryna Nosacheva said at the meeting with representatives of small and middle businesses, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the official, such development means working for interests and needs of taxpayers. "We have to abandon old approaches, and we can do this only with your held," she said addressing the entrepreneurs. According to Nosacheva, such reorganization must result into budget revenues growth.
"We can already observe the effect. For the last five months Kyiv taxpayers provided 12.9 billion hryvnias of tax payments, which is three billion more than in last year. The Kyiv local budget has received 3.5 billion hryvnias, which is by 18% more than for the January-may period of 2011," she informed.
Nosacheva added that this year 62 thousand Kyiv citizens have declared their income, which is almost threefold comparing to the last year. According to the statistic data, there are 916 millionaires registered as of June 13 of this year, while for the same period of the last year the data showed 680.
