"Due to airing on the Internet of misinformation about the meetings between the European Parliament representatives with Tymoshenko, the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine reports that it has not received any official requests for a meeting with Tymoshenko either from the former President of Poland Aleksander Kwasniewski or the former President of the European Parliament Pat Cox, or other public bodies," the statement says.
It also informs that according to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, such a meeting is not planned at all in the framework of the visit of the European Parliament representatives to Ukraine.
