The Pension Fund’s deficit will be covered by subsidies from the state budget or through the legalization of wages, the first vice prime minister of Ukraine Valeryi Khoroshkovskiy told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The Pension Fund lacks funds as the expenditure exceeds income. The gap between revenues and expenditures will be narrowed either by borrowings to the PF or by the income increasing. It seems to me that we need to concentrate on the second way – the increasing of income through legalizing the wages. If we took significant steps in this respect, we would have had a surplus of PF, but unfortunately, the legalization of wages is moving not so fast," the first vice prime minister said.

As reported, the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that solving the problem of informal employment, the government will put the emphasis on providing incentives for the legalization of wages.
