The external independent testing was conducted smoothly and without any violations, the minister of education and science of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk told a briefing in the Cabinet’s of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
He said that this year, the specific number of the tested has increased. For example, in 2010, the Ukrainian language and literature test was taken by 88% of all the registered, in 2011 - 89%, this year - 92.3%.
The minister said that this year the testing process has been controlled by a record number of public observers - 1716 people.
Tabachnyk said that the test results will be announced before July 1. If an applicant disagrees with the results, he may appeal to the Appeal Commission within 3 days.
"However, the last years showed that the test results remain in force after appeal," he said.
The minister reminded that in parallel with the ordinary system of university admission, the electronic system is to come into operation on July 2.
