Preparations for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship is only the beginning of the infrastructural changes in the country, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during the government’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Despite the devastation, which was actually our start, we have succeeded to provide fans with sufficient comfort and safety, which are to be guaranteed till the very end of the championship," the head of government said.
In addition, Azarov noted that in the last days he talked with many guests coming to Ukraine. According to him, they saw the changes in Ukraine for better. "But we must be critical to our work, it is only the beginning of infrastructural changes," Azarov underlined.
He also mentioned that without slowing down there should be further modernization of the infrastructure, first of all the construction industry.
