Yesterday, on the territory of the Kyiv fan-zone police detained 13 Ukrainians for putting up a fight with foreign fans, ForUm correspondent learned from the head of the police department on public order during Euro-2012 Oleh Matveitsov.

"After a short investigation police officers released two minors and fined 11 Ukrainians with 51 hryvnias each," the official informed. According to the police officer, these young people were immediately included into the data base of "problem fans". "We started filling this data base back in 2010. As of today it numbers about one and a half thousand Ukrainians," he added.

Matveitsov also informed that law enforcements also managed to prevent a fight between Ukrainian and Russian fans in Lviv. Nobody pressed charges. "Our primary task is to prevent mass disorders," he summed up.
