June 8-10, Kharkiv International Airport accepted and sent 84 chartered flights with foreign fans, ForUm learned from the airport’s press service.
In particular, 44 planes from Amsterdam and Copenhagen with 4111 fans on board landed in Kharkiv in three days, the website of the Kharkiv City Council reports.
40 flights with 3724 fans on board departed from the airport. Respectively, 387 fans stayed on the territory of Ukraine. The airport’s press office also mentioned that on June 8, 9 and 10 the fans of the championship made 90% of all the passengers of the flights.
