Preparation to Euro-2012 enabled Ukraine to make a breakthrough in the development of infrastructure, vice PM and minister for infrastructure Borys Koleskikov said in an interview with one of Ukrainian TV channels. According to the official, our country has reached European standards of quality and comfort.
"The epoch of standstill has been overcome. The government has built international airports, the business has built hotels. Now our joint task is to fill these hotels constantly. We must make Ukraine a center of business and tourist attraction," the minister said.
Kolesnikov expressed assurance that after the Euro-2012 Kyiv and Lviv would become successful tourist centers, while Donetsk and Kharkiv would develop business tourism.
