Tihipko: new employment law to promote economy

The employment bill prepared by the Ministry of Social Policy will let create hundreds of thousand of jobs, the vice prime minister and the social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko said, commenting on the today’s passing of the bill  by the Parliament of Ukraine in the first reading, ForUm learned from the press service of the Social Policy Ministry.

"This law will considerably promote the economy. It will help create hundreds of thousand of new, high-paid jobs. This is a major step towards improving the employment situation," the minister said.

However, the official said that another important step in overcoming unemployment and creating jobs is to attract investments. "Today, the business is pressed by inspections, the outrage of the law enforcement structures. Business should be freed from this pressure. This is a task for the authorities at all the levels, including the local ones," Tihipko said.

The vice prime minister thanked the MPs for their passing the bill and noted that it should be adopted as soon as possible.
