The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz expects that the mission of the former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and the former President of the European Parliament Pat Cox on monitoring hearings on Yulia Tymoshenko's case will help improve the relations between Ukraine and the EU.

In his turn, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that Ukraine will create favorable conditions for the efficient monitoring of the European Parliament mission. In particular, the lawyers are to have technical assistance and full access to all the materials.

"Two high representative of the European Parliament, the legal experts and the lawyers are to come for consideration of case upon cassation appeal of Tymoshenko. They will examine all the materials of the case and draw their conclusion. This will be the first qualified assessment of the "Tymoshenko case" done by the European law experts," Azarov said.

According to Azarov, the conclusions of the so-called European legal experts regarding the "Tymoshenko case", which have been circulating before, were not based on a study of the case.

On Monday, June 11, Kwasniewski and Cox will meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, as well as with the lawyers and the relatives of Tymoshenko in Ukraine.
