The government is to continue improving regulatory policy, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych told a plenary meeting of the Council of national and foreign investors, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to the President, this work is aimed at providing business and investments with friendly environment. "A strong struggle against manifestations of corruption keeps going," the head of the state said.

"We will keep working on the regulatory policy development. Recently, the number of permits and licenses required to run business has been reduced by 85%. A huge corruption component, which the officials were making money on, has almost been eliminated," Yanukovych said.

However, he added that the bureaucracy is still resisting to the processes of deregulation.
