The problem of the VAT recover for companies is practically settled, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych told a plenary meeting of the Council of national and foreign investors, ForUm correspondent reports.
"There are no businessmen standing in lines and asking to help with recovery. It is so because, as I think, we have practically settled this problem," the President said.
He also noted that the isolated cases of problems with the VAT recovery still happen to be. In general however, the reimbursements are being paid and the VAT is being recovered virtually in an automatic mode. The President named the adoption of the new Tax Code One as one of the reasons assisted in settling the problem.
As reported, the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko said that there are no problems with the VAT recovery in Ukraine.
