“As for June 1, 5100 citizens have applied for participating in this program. It has been already defined 68 houses comprising 3315 apartments. The responsible for this program at the local level were granted extra budget financing,” the Prime Minister informed.
At the same time he mentioned that he is not satisfied with the rate of lending on this program. “The rate of signing the loan agreements leaves much to be desired. I draw attention of the regional development minister Blyzniuk and the finances minister Kolobov to the fact that it is not enough to sign the papers and pass them to the officials responsible. The process should be controlled over rigorously. I insist on daily monitoring the program’s fulfillment, the lending procedure in particular,” Azarov summed up.
As reported, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that to buy an apartment within the “Affordable housing” program, the total income of the family should make up 5-6 thousand UAH in a month.
On May 16, within the framework of the presidential social initiative on reduction in mortgage credit cost, the Ukraine’s first agreement on the interest rate compensation to the recipient of loan was signed.
