Police forces are pushing out the protesters, holding a meeting against the adoption of the draft bill on language policy in front of the parliamentary building. MPs and representatives of public organizations are calling the protesters to resist.

The main department of the Interior Ministry in Kyiv reported that the protest action near the parliament have gathered about nine thousand people. In particular, seven thousand are supporters of the ruling party, while the rest is representatives of the opposition forces.
At the same time in Lviv, about a thousand people have gathered near the city administration protesting against the adoption of the very same draft bill. Young activist are holding a rally collecting old shoes, which according to them symbolizes the treading down of the Ukrainian language by the authorities.
