Prosecutor general of Ukraine Viktor Pshonak declares that the case on a series of blast in Dnipripetrovsk has been solved.
"Today we can say that the crime is solved. We have full information about the crime," he told a press conference Friday.
According to the official, the blasts were organized with a mercenary motive. "The qualification of the crime has been confirmed (terrorism). The investigation has established that the crime was committed with a mercenary motive," Pshonka added.
In his turn, SBU head Ihor Kalinin informed that the criminals contacted the law enforcements through internet and demanded money. "We were receiving messages through internet. The criminals asked for 4.5 million dollars to be transferred to a bank card. We let them to take a small sum from the card and then we got them," Kalinin informed.
According to the officials, the criminals have status of suspects for the moment and face official charges soon.
