On June 1 the new Customs Code of Ukraine comes into force.
On April 21 this year, the Customs Code was published in the Holos Ukrainy (Voice of Ukraine) government newspaper (№№73-74) and was to come into force from the first day of the second month after its publishing.
The Ukrainian Parliament adopted the Code for two times. After its adopting on November 3, 2011, it was vetoed by the President. On April 19, this year, the amended Customs Code was signed by the President after its adoption by the Parliament on March 13, 2012.
