The government of France has decided to boycott the EUuro-2012 championship due t o the situation around former Ukraine's PM Yulia Tymoshenko, French Minister of Youth and Sports Valérie Fourneyron declared yeasterday.
"None of the members of the government will attend the championship matches in Ukraine. Foreign Ministry of France officially informed the Ukrainian government on the situation," the French official said.
The Flemish Government (Belgium) has also refused to accept an invitation to attend the Euro 2012 because of the Tymoshenko case.
