On June 1, International Children's Day, President Viktor Yanukovych is meeting a group of children from all the regions of Ukraine, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
“At the invitation of the President, 135 children aged 9 to 17 will come to Kyiv. These will be the winners of domestic and international competitions, sporting events and tournaments, artistic festivals, school self-government leaders, young activists and journalists, etc.,” Ombudsman for Children under the President of Ukraine Yuriy Pavlenko has informed.
According to him, the meeting will be held in the format of dialogue, during which the children will be able to voice their vision of how to improve the protection of their rights.
