The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is considering the possibilities how to keep up the speed of infrastructure projects realization, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said at a meeting with school directors and teachers, ForUm correspondent reports.
The official noted that the Euro-2012 championship was only a pretext for the reconstruction. "The reconstruction of Boryspil would have lasted for another ten years if not for Euro-2012. Many of my colleagues have an impression that when Euro is finished we will take a break. Forget about it. We should not even thin about taking a break," the Premier stressed.
"Within the preparation to Euro-2012 we have reconstructed and built three thousand km of roads, but not everybody can enjoy them, as there are another 70 thousand km to be fixed. With such speed we would need another 20 years to reach the level of European infrastructure. It is obvious that we have to speed up," Azarov summed up.
