On January 1, 2013, IT-business tax benefits will come into force, the Head of the State Agency for science, innovation and information Volodymyr Semynozhenko told a briefing, as ForUm correspondent reports.
He said that starting from January 1, 2013, the IT profits tax is to be reduced from 20% to 5%, the VAT will not be charged and the single social insurance due will make 36.76% of two minimum wages.
The given tax benefits will be applied to the organizations working on general taxation system. The volume of revenues from the companies' activities in the information field must be at least 70% of total revenues.
