A bootleg plant for commercial lots production of counterfeit sports clothes with printed symbols of Euro 2012 was exposed in Lviv, ForUm learned from the Lviv Interior Ministry department press office.
The owners of private enterprises, who organized the commercial production of sportswear with illegally printed Euro 2012 logos and Adidas trademark, were exposed in Lviv.
Economic Crime State Agency officers detained the bootleg shop owners during the sales of sport T-shirts with Euro 2012 and Adidas printed logos.
"The officials exempted from the enterprise's premises the specialized equipment for application of these trademarks, in particular, photo transfer machine, dye-sublimation printer, system unit with installed special software," the report says. The question of criminal proceedings institution for an offence under the Article 229 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is pending.
