Rospotrebnadzor has audited documentation of another two Ukrainian cheese producers, banned from import of their products to Russia, and is planning to go with an inspection to Ukraine, a statement posted on the Rospotrebnadzor official website reads.

“A documentary audit was held of LLC Lozovsky Dairy Plant, PE Ros of the Okhtyrka Cheese Plant branch and currently an inspection of those enterprises is planned,” the statement reads, according to UKRINFORM.

Rospotrebnadzor permitted four Ukrainian plants to return to the Russian market in mid-May by results of the laboratory control of cheese samples. The matter concerns products of such enterprises as Pyriatyn Cheese Plant, Dubnomoloko, Hadiachsyr and Prometey.

Rospotrebnadzor reminds that it held an expertise of 55 samples in May. “Examination of 32 samples has been fully completed. Expert opinions were issued for three cheese batches about their non-compliance with sanitary-epidemiological rules and norms. Those products were not allowed for realization to population. Examination of another 23 samples continues,” Rospotrebnadzor informed.

In addition, an issue is being under consideration about recognition of examination received by Ukrainian laboratories and possibility of using it for estimation of cheese quality and safety .
