For the first four months of 2012 the large taxpayers have paid 39.4 billion hryvanis of taxes with the total revenues of 63.7 billion hryvnais, chairman of the State tax service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko said during the presentation of the District tax center for large taxpayers, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This structure will work for the common goal, which is to improve the business climate of the country. We are changing the approaches, turning the state tax service into a serving agency, not a simple fiscal department. To make such changes successful to the maximum we have formed this center," the official said.
"We trust our clients and take important steps, including the automatic VAT refund system, to simplify their activity. In 2011 the business recovered 7.3 billion hryvanis of VAT. Such system boosts both enterprises and the economy, speeding up business turnover of money," Klymenko added.
According to him, the agreement with the Customs service on information exchanges simplifies the work with business companies and helps to control their activities to minimize the risks. "And all this does not require additional resources and manpower," the official specified.
